Founder Oskar Ciejek moved to British Columbia with a dream — not just to live here, but to build something meaningful. Having already built a successful shop back in Ontario (OCD Auto Care), Oskar saw a gap in Kelowna’s automotive scene when he arrived in 2020: a strong community of car enthusiasts, but a lack of truly high-end detailing and protection services.
By winter 2021, that vision became reality with the opening of Gold Coast Automotive. From day one, Oskar’s mission was clear — to deliver an experience of excellence, not just a service. Every car that comes through the doors is treated with the same level of care and precision the team would give their own.
“We don’t believe in quick fixes or ‘good enough,’” says Oskar. “Cars are an extension of who we are. They deserve to be treated with pride.”
That commitment has paid off. Gold Coast has become known not just for impeccable detailing, paint protection, and restoration, but for building a community around quality and craftsmanship. The shop regularly hosts car meets and local events, helping to grow and strengthen the automotive culture in Kelowna, BC, Canada.

“When others in the industry rise, the whole community benefits,” says Oskar.
Restoring More Than Cars
One of Gold Coast’s most memorable projects involved a full restoration of a 2012 Porsche 911 Turbo — a 300-hour labour of love that transformed a worn, faded car into a showroom masterpiece.
“When the owner saw it under the lights, he hugged the whole team,” Oskar recalls. “That moment reminded us why we do what we do — it’s not just about restoring paint, it’s about restoring pride.”
Those moments define the heart of Gold Coast Auto: turning tired vehicles into something their owners can fall in love with all over again.
Giving Back to the Community
For Oskar, success isn’t just measured in polished cars — it’s measured in community impact. Through events, collaborations, and mentorship, Gold Coast is committed to raising the standard, growing the culture, and inspiring the next generation.
“I want young people to see that their passion can become a career,” Oskar says. “Entrepreneurship is a real path — whether it’s in the automotive world or something entirely different.”
